Being surrounded by the expansive variety of trees in his backyard built an instant and long-lasting appreciation for the majestic power of nature.

Nick studied under one of the luthier profession’s pioneers, and works closely with Steve Sauve also based in MA. Through his apprenticeship and ongoing collaboration with seasoned professionals Nick honed his luthier skills as an independent builder and is now sharing his expertise and creative passion through Berkshire Stringed Instruments School of Lutherie.
Owner and sole proprietor Nicholas Lenski was born and raised in the heart of the Berkshires in western Massachusetts.
